Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
This policy explains what happens to information when you use the PrintHop Android app (“the app”) and this website. The app is published by JoZarqa (“we”, “us”).
1. What we do not collect
We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, address, payments or location. We do not run servers for your files, so we do not receive the PDFs, photos, text or web addresses you print. The app does not use analytics or crash-reporting services.
2. What the app does with your files
- Files and photos you choose are read from your phone, laid out as a document on the device, and handed to Android’s print system. Android then sends the job to the printer you select.
- Camera. When you choose Camera, the app opens your phone’s camera app. PrintHop does not request camera permission itself.
- Web pages. When you print a web page, the app loads the address you typed, so that website receives a normal request from your device. We do not see it.
- Clipboard. The app reads the clipboard only when you tap Clipboard.
3. What is stored on your device
The app keeps a short print history (titles, dates and copies of the files you printed, up to 30 entries) so you can print again. It is stored only on your phone and you can clear it in the app (History, then the bin icon). Files shared to the app are copied to its temporary storage so they can be printed.
4. Ads and Google AdMob
The app is free and supported by ads from Google AdMob. When ads are shown, Google, as an independent provider, may collect and use:
- your device’s advertising ID, IP address, device and operating-system details, and approximate location derived from the IP address;
- how you interact with ads, and technical information needed to deliver and measure them and to prevent fraud.
Google handles this information under its own policies: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. We do not receive this data and do not sell your personal information. We never put ads on the preview, print or error screens.
5. Your consent and choices
- Consent form. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other places where it is required, the app shows a consent message (Google’s User Messaging Platform) before ads are requested. If you decline, ads are not requested until you agree.
- Privacy options. Where required, you can change your choice later from the Printer help screen.
- Advertising ID. You can reset or delete it in Android Settings, under Privacy, Ads.
- Delete data. Clear the history in the app, or clear the app’s storage or uninstall it in Android Settings. Because we hold no copy of your data, there is nothing for us to delete on a server.
6. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
7. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
